Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress who is best recognized for her role as detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medical drama The Resident. Additionally, she earned applause for her television debut performance in Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. The most memorable film roles she has played are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. According to reports, she is working with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, who wrote Immortals for the basis from Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life.
